Surah The Cow [Al-Baqara] Ayah 286 Location Madanah Number 2
وَإِذۡ أَخَذۡنَا مِيثَٰقَ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ لَا تَعۡبُدُونَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ وَبِٱلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ إِحۡسَانٗا وَذِي ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ وَقُولُواْ لِلنَّاسِ حُسۡنٗا وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا مِّنكُمۡ وَأَنتُم مُّعۡرِضُونَ [٨٣]
Kujtoni kur morëm besën tuaj, o bijtë e Israilit, se do ta adhuroni vetëm Allahun, do të silleni mirë me prindërit, të afërmit, jetimët dhe të varfrit, se do t'u thoni njerëzve fjalë të mira, do ta falni namazin dhe do ta jepni zekatin. Por, pastaj ju kthyet shpinën, përveç një pakice prej jush, duke u shmangur.
