Surah Spoils of war, booty [Al-Anfal] Ayah 75 Location Madanah Number 8
وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالُواْ قَدۡ سَمِعۡنَا لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَقُلۡنَا مِثۡلَ هَٰذَآ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ [٣١]
31. Et (rappelle-toi) quand on leur récitait Nos versets et qu’ils disaient : « Nous avons entendu, et si nous voulions, nous produirions des (versets) semblables ; ce ne sont là que fables d’anciens. »
