Surah The Cow [Al-Baqara] Ayah 286 Location Madanah Number 2
أَمۡ تَقُولُونَ إِنَّ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسۡحَٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوبَ وَٱلۡأَسۡبَاطَ كَانُواْ هُودًا أَوۡ نَصَٰرَىٰۗ قُلۡ ءَأَنتُمۡ أَعۡلَمُ أَمِ ٱللَّهُۗ وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن كَتَمَ شَهَٰدَةً عِندَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ [١٤٠]
Oder wollt ihr etwa sagen, Ibrahim, Isma'il, lshaq, Ya'qub und die (Propheten unter den) Enkeln (Ya'qubs) seien Juden oder Christen gewesen? Sag: „Wisst ihr es besser oder Allah?“ Und wer ist ungerechter, als wer ein Zeugnis von Allah bei sich verschweigt? Und Allah ist nicht unachtsam dessen, was ihr tut.
