Surah The Cow [Al-Baqara] Ayah 286 Location Madanah Number 2
إِن تُبۡدُواْ ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ فَنِعِمَّا هِيَۖ وَإِن تُخۡفُوهَا وَتُؤۡتُوهَا ٱلۡفُقَرَآءَ فَهُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡۚ وَيُكَفِّرُ عَنكُم مِّن سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ [٢٧١]
Wenn ihr die Almosen offen zeigt, so ist es trefflich. Wenn ihr sie aber verbergt und den Armen gebt, so ist es besser für euch, und Er (also Allah) wird euch etwas von euren schlechten Taten tilgen. Und Allah ist dessen, was ihr tut, kundig.
