Surah The Story [Al-Qasas] Ayah 88 Location Maccah Number 28
۞ إِنَّ قَٰرُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوۡمِ مُوسَىٰ فَبَغَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلۡكُنُوزِ مَآ إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُۥ لَتَنُوٓأُ بِٱلۡعُصۡبَةِ أُوْلِي ٱلۡقُوَّةِ إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥ لَا تَفۡرَحۡۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡفَرِحِينَ [٧٦]
Wahrlich, Qarun gehörte zum Volk Musas, doch er war ihnen gegenüber hochmütig. Und Wir gaben ihm solche Schätze, dass deren Schlüssel sogar eine schwere Last für eine (ganze) Schar kräftiger Männer gewesen wären. Als sein Volk zu ihm sagte: „Sei nicht (überheblich) froh, denn Allah liebt nicht die (überheblich) Frohen,
