Surah The Table Spread [Al-Maeda] Ayah 120 Location Madanah Number 5
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ تَعَالَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ قَالُواْ حَسۡبُنَا مَا وَجَدۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ ءَابَآءَنَآۚ أَوَلَوۡ كَانَ ءَابَآؤُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يَهۡتَدُونَ [١٠٤]
Und wenn man zu ihnen sagt: „Kommt (und folgt dem), was Allah hinabgesandt hat“, sagen sie: „Vielmehr folgen wir dem, worin wir unsere Väter vorgefunden haben.“ Was denn, auch wenn ihre Väter nichts begriffen und nicht rechtgeleitet waren?
