Surah The Table Spread [Al-Maeda] Ayah 120 Location Madanah Number 5
وَكَتَبۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ فِيهَآ أَنَّ ٱلنَّفۡسَ بِٱلنَّفۡسِ وَٱلۡعَيۡنَ بِٱلۡعَيۡنِ وَٱلۡأَنفَ بِٱلۡأَنفِ وَٱلۡأُذُنَ بِٱلۡأُذُنِ وَٱلسِّنَّ بِٱلسِّنِّ وَٱلۡجُرُوحَ قِصَاصٞۚ فَمَن تَصَدَّقَ بِهِۦ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٞ لَّهُۥۚ وَمَن لَّمۡ يَحۡكُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ [٤٥]
Und Wir haben ihnen darin vorgeschrieben: Seele um Seele, Auge um Auge, Nase um Nase, Ohr um Ohr, Zahn um Zahn; und (auch) für Verwundungen (gibt es) Wiedervergeltung. Wer es aber als Almosen erlässt, für den ist es eine Sühne. Und wer nicht nach dem richtet, was Allah (als Offenbarung) hinabgesandt hat, so sind jene die Ungerechten.
