Surah The heights [Al-Araf] Ayah 206 Location Maccah Number 7
وَإِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمۡ صَٰلِحٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥۖ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡكُم بَيِّنَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ هَٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةُ ٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ ءَايَةٗۖ فَذَرُوهَا تَأۡكُلۡ فِيٓ أَرۡضِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٖ فَيَأۡخُذَكُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ [٧٣]
Und zu Thamud (sandten Wir) ihren Bruder Salih. Er sagte: „O mein Volk, dient Allah! Ihr habt keine (zu Recht angebetete) Gottheit außer Ihm. Es ist bereits ein klarer Beweis von eurem Herrn zu euch gekommen: Dies ist die Kamelstute Allahs, ein Zeichen für euch. So lasst sie auf der Erde Allahs fressen und fügt ihr nichts Böses zu, sonst überkommt euch schmerzhafte Strafe.“
