Surah Spoils of war, booty [Al-Anfal] Ayah 75 Location Madanah Number 8
وَإِذۡ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ إِحۡدَى ٱلطَّآئِفَتَيۡنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمۡ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيۡرَ ذَاتِ ٱلشَّوۡكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمۡ وَيُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ ٱلۡحَقَّ بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ وَيَقۡطَعَ دَابِرَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ [٧]
Und (gedenke,) als Allah euch versprach, dass die eine der beiden Gruppierungen euch gehören sollte, und ihr (es) lieber gehabt hättet, dass diejenige ohne Kampfkraft euer sein sollte! Aber Allah will mit Seinen Worten die Wahrheit bestätigen und die Rückkehr der Ungläubigen abschneiden.
