Surah The night journey [Al-Isra] Ayah 111 Location Maccah Number 17
وَإِذَآ أَرَدۡنَآ أَن نُّهۡلِكَ قَرۡيَةً أَمَرۡنَا مُتۡرَفِيهَا فَفَسَقُواْ فِيهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡهَا ٱلۡقَوۡلُ فَدَمَّرۡنَٰهَا تَدۡمِيرٗا [١٦]
また、われら*がある町を（その民の不正*ゆえに）滅ぼそうとする時には、（まず）その（町の）贅沢者たちに（民の代表として、われら*への服従と信仰を）命じたものであった。そして彼らがそこで放逸に振る舞う[1]と、それ（町）に（懲罰の）御言葉が確定し、われら*はそれを木っ端微塵に滅ぼしたのである。
