وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هَلۡ تُحِسُّ مِنۡهُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ أَوۡ تَسۡمَعُ لَهُمۡ رِكۡزَۢا [٩٨]
そしてわれら*は彼ら以前に、一体どれだけ多くの世代を滅ぼしたことか。一体あなたは彼らの内の一人でも、目にするのか？あるいは、彼らの囁き声を耳にするとでも？[1]
