Surah Ornaments of Gold [Az-Zukhruf] Ayah 89 Location Maccah Number 43
وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي قَرۡيَةٖ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتۡرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّقۡتَدُونَ [٢٣]
また同様に（使徒*よ、）あなた以前、われらが町に警告者[1]を遣わした時には決まって、その（町の）贅沢者たちは（こう）言ったものなのだ。「本当に私たちは、ご先祖様が宗教に属しているのを見出した。私たちは、彼らの（辿った）道筋を継ぐ者なのだ」。
