Surah Spoils of war, booty [Al-Anfal] Ayah 75 Location Madanah Number 8
وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالُواْ قَدۡ سَمِعۡنَا لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَقُلۡنَا مِثۡلَ هَٰذَآ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ [٣١]
われら*の御徴（アーヤ*）が彼らに読誦されれば、彼らは（無知と頑迷さから、こう）言った。「（これは以前にも、）確かに聞いたことがあるぞ。もしその気になれば、私たちはこれと同じようなものを語ったであろう。これは、昔の人々のお伽話に外ならないのだ」[1]。
