Surah The Pilgrimage [Al-Hajj] Ayah 78 Location Maccah Number 22
فَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَا وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٞ فَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا وَبِئۡرٖ مُّعَطَّلَةٖ وَقَصۡرٖ مَّشِيدٍ [٤٥]
چه بسیار شهرهایی را که [چون مردمش کافر و] ستمکار بودند نابودشان کردیم و [اینک] سقف‌هایش فروریخته است؛ و چه بسیار چاه[های] متروک و قصر[های] استوار [و باشکوه که ساکنانش را از عذاب الهی نجات نداد].
