Surah Ornaments of Gold [Az-Zukhruf] Ayah 89 Location Maccah Number 43
وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي قَرۡيَةٖ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتۡرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّقۡتَدُونَ [٢٣]
پیش از تو نیز هر [پیامبرِ] هشداردهنده‌ای را به هر شهری فرستادیم، ثروتمندانِ سرکشِ آن شهر می‌گفتند: «نیاکانمان نیز همین آیین را داشتند و ما [نیز] راه آنان را دنبال می‌کنیم».
