Surah The heights [Al-Araf] Ayah 206 Location Maccah Number 7
وَجَٰوَزۡنَا بِبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ فَأَتَوۡاْ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ يَعۡكُفُونَ عَلَىٰٓ أَصۡنَامٖ لَّهُمۡۚ قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَى ٱجۡعَل لَّنَآ إِلَٰهٗا كَمَا لَهُمۡ ءَالِهَةٞۚ قَالَ إِنَّكُمۡ قَوۡمٞ تَجۡهَلُونَ [١٣٨]
E fizemos os filhos de Israel atravessarem o mar, e eles foram ter a um povo que cultuava seus ídolos. Disseram: “Ó Moisés! Faze-nos ter um deus, assim como eles têm deuses.” Disse: “Por certo, sois um povo ignorante."
