Surah The Cow [Al-Baqara] Ayah 286 Location Madanah Number 2
وَقَالَ لَهُمۡ نَبِيُّهُمۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَدۡ بَعَثَ لَكُمۡ طَالُوتَ مَلِكٗاۚ قَالُوٓاْ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ عَلَيۡنَا وَنَحۡنُ أَحَقُّ بِٱلۡمُلۡكِ مِنۡهُ وَلَمۡ يُؤۡتَ سَعَةٗ مِّنَ ٱلۡمَالِۚ قَالَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱصۡطَفَىٰهُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَزَادَهُۥ بَسۡطَةٗ فِي ٱلۡعِلۡمِ وَٱلۡجِسۡمِۖ وَٱللَّهُ يُؤۡتِي مُلۡكَهُۥ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٞ [٢٤٧]
Şi le-a zis Profetul lor: „Cu adevărat Allah vi l-a trimis vouă pe Talut ca rege!” Au răspuns: „Cum să conducă el peste noi, când noi suntem mai vrednici de domnie decât el? Şi el nu a fost dăruit nici cu bogăţie din belşug.” El le-a zis: „Cu adevărat Allah l-a ales pe el peste voi şi i-a dăruit știință şi putere fizică din abundență!” Iar Allah dă stăpânirea Lui cui Voieşte El, căci Allah este Uasi [Cel cu Har Nemărginit], Alim [Atoateștiutor].
