Surah The Cow [Al-Baqara] Ayah 286 Location Madanah Number 2
۞ يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡخَمۡرِ وَٱلۡمَيۡسِرِۖ قُلۡ فِيهِمَآ إِثۡمٞ كَبِيرٞ وَمَنَٰفِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَإِثۡمُهُمَآ أَكۡبَرُ مِن نَّفۡعِهِمَاۗ وَيَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَۖ قُلِ ٱلۡعَفۡوَۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَفَكَّرُونَ [٢١٩]
219. Te preguntan (¡oh, Muhammad!) acerca de las bebidas alcohólicas y los juegos de azar. Diles: “En ambos hay un gran pecado y (algunos) beneficios para los hombres, más el pecado que conllevan es mayor que sus beneficios[72]“. Y te preguntan cuánto deben dar en caridad. Diles: “Lo que les sobre una vez cubiertas sus necesidades”. Así es como Al-lah les aclara Sus mandatos para que puedan reflexionar.
