Surah Spoils of war, booty [Al-Anfal] Ayah 75 Location Madanah Number 8
وَإِذۡ زَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ وَقَالَ لَا غَالِبَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَإِنِّي جَارٞ لَّكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّا تَرَآءَتِ ٱلۡفِئَتَانِ نَكَصَ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيۡهِ وَقَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّنكُمۡ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰ مَا لَا تَرَوۡنَ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ ٱللَّهَۚ وَٱللَّهُ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ [٤٨]
48. Y (recuerda) cuando el Demonio hizo que las acciones de los idólatras les pareciesen buenas a sus ojos, y les dijo (bajo la apariencia de uno de sus líderes): “¡Nadie los podrá vencer hoy, pues yo estoy con ustedes para socorrerlos!”. Sin embargo, cuando ambas tropas se encontraron de frente, el Demonio retrocedió huyendo, y dijo: “No tengo nada que ver con ustedes. Veo lo que no pueden ver (a los ángeles) y temo a Al-lah, pues Él es severo en el castigo”.
