Surah The Cow [Al-Baqara] Ayah 286 Location Madanah Number 2
مَّا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَلَا ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّنۡ خَيۡرٖ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَخۡتَصُّ بِرَحۡمَتِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلۡفَضۡلِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ [١٠٥]
Varken de otrogna bland skriftens folk eller avgudadyrkarna vill att något gott ska sändas ned till er från er Herre. Gud väljer i sin barmhärtighet ut vem han vill. Guds nådegåvor är outsinliga.
