Surah The Cow [Al-Baqara] Ayah 286 Location Madanah Number 2
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ [١٨٣]
Troende! Fastan har föreskrivits för er så som den föreskrevs för de som levde innan er, så att ni må bli gudfruktiga.
