Surah Ornaments of Gold [Az-Zukhruf] Ayah 89 Location Maccah Number 43
وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي قَرۡيَةٖ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتۡرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّقۡتَدُونَ [٢٣]
Så har det alltid varit; varje gång vi sänt en varnare till ett samhälle, har dess välbeställda sagt: ”Vi fann våra förfäder följa en viss lära och vi följer deras exempel.”
