Surah The Table Spread [Al-Maeda] Ayah 120 Location Madanah Number 5
۞ وَٱتۡلُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَبَأَ ٱبۡنَيۡ ءَادَمَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ إِذۡ قَرَّبَا قُرۡبَانٗا فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنۡ أَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمۡ يُتَقَبَّلۡ مِنَ ٱلۡأٓخَرِ قَالَ لَأَقۡتُلَنَّكَۖ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ [٢٧]
Och återge för dem den sanna berättelsen om Adams två söner. De bar fram varsitt offer, och den enes offer godtogs men inte den andres. Då sa han [vars offer inte godtogs]: ”Jag ska döda dig!” [Den andre] svarade: ”Gud godtar endast från de som fruktar honom.
