رَّبُّكُمۡ أَعۡلَمُ بِكُمۡۖ إِن يَشَأۡ يَرۡحَمۡكُمۡ أَوۡ إِن يَشَأۡ يُعَذِّبۡكُمۡۚ وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَكِيلٗا [٥٤]
54. (மனிதர்களே!) உங்களை உங்கள் இறைவன் நன்கறிந்தே இருக்கிறான். அவன் விரும்பினால் உங்களுக்கு அருள்புரிவான் அல்லது அவன் விரும்பினால் உங்களை வேதனை செய்வான். ஆகவே, (நபியே!) நாம் உம்மை அவர்களுக்குப் பொறுப்பாளியாக அனுப்பவில்லை.
