Surah Ornaments of Gold [Az-Zukhruf] Ayah 89 Location Maccah Number 43
وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي قَرۡيَةٖ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتۡرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّقۡتَدُونَ [٢٣]
23. இவ்வாறே, உங்களுக்கு முன்னரும் எச்சரிக்கும் தூதரை ஓர் ஊராரிடம் நாம் அனுப்பிவைத்தால், அங்குள்ள தலைவர்கள் ‘‘நாங்கள் எங்கள் மூதாதைகளை ஒரு வழியில் கண்டோம்; அவர்களின் அடிச்சுவடுகளையே நாங்கள் பின்பற்றிச் செல்வோம்'' என்று கூறாமல் இருக்கவில்லை.
