قَالَ أَلۡقُواْۖ فَلَمَّآ أَلۡقَوۡاْ سَحَرُوٓاْ أَعۡيُنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱسۡتَرۡهَبُوهُمۡ وَجَآءُو بِسِحۡرٍ عَظِيمٖ [١١٦]
116. அதற்கு மூஸா ‘‘நீங்களே (முதலில்) எறியுங்கள்'' என்று கூறினார். அவ்வாறு அவர்கள் எறிந்து மக்களுடைய கண்களைக் கட்டி அவர்கள் திடுக்கிடும்படியான மகத்தான சூனியத்தைச் செய்தனர்.
