أَوۡ تَقُولُوٓاْ إِنَّمَآ أَشۡرَكَ ءَابَآؤُنَا مِن قَبۡلُ وَكُنَّا ذُرِّيَّةٗ مِّنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡۖ أَفَتُهۡلِكُنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ ٱلۡمُبۡطِلُونَ [١٧٣]
அல்லது இணைவைத்ததெல்லாம் முன்னர் எங்கள் மூதாதைகள்தான். (நாங்கள்) அவர்களுக்குப் பின்னர் (தோன்றிய) சந்ததிகளாக இருக்கிறோம். (அந்த) பொய்யர்கள் செய்ததற்காக நீ எங்களை அழிப்பாயா? என்று கூறாதிருப்பதற்காக... (இதை இன்று நினைவூட்டுகிறோம்).
