Surah The Cow [Al-Baqara] Ayah 286 Location Madanah Number 2
وَإِذۡ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسۡجُدُواْ لِأٓدَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ [٣٤]
และจงรำลึกถึงขณะที่เรากล่าวแก่บรรดามลาอิกะฮ์ว่า “จงสุญูดต่ออาดัม” แล้วพวกเขาทั้งหมดก็สุญูดกัน นอกจากอิบลีส มันปฏิเสธการสุญูดและแสดงความโอหัง ดังนั้นมันจึงกลายเป็นผู้หนึ่งในหมู่ผู้ปฏิเสธศรัทธา
