Surah Ornaments of Gold [Az-Zukhruf] Ayah 89 Location Maccah Number 43
وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي قَرۡيَةٖ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتۡرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّقۡتَدُونَ [٢٣]
และทำนองเดียวกันนั้น เราไม่ได้ส่งผู้ตักเตือนคนใดไปยังเมืองใด ๆ ก่อนหน้าเจ้า (โอ้ มุฮัมหมัด) เว้นแต่ว่าคนมั่งมีของเมืองนั้นจะกล่าวว่า "แท้จริงเราได้พบบรรพบุรุษของเรานับถือศาสนาหนึ่ง และแท้จริง เราก็ตามรอยเท้าของพวกเขา"
