Surah The Prophets [Al-Anbiya] Ayah 112 Location Maccah Number 21
وَٱقۡتَرَبَ ٱلۡوَعۡدُ ٱلۡحَقُّ فَإِذَا هِيَ شَٰخِصَةٌ أَبۡصَٰرُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا قَدۡ كُنَّا فِي غَفۡلَةٖ مِّنۡ هَٰذَا بَلۡ كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ [٩٧]
真実の約束（復活の日*）は近づいたのである。そしてどうであろうか、（その日の恐怖が現れると、）不信仰だった者*たちの眼は見開いたままになる。（彼らはこう言うのだ。）「我らが災いよ！[1]私たちは確かに、このことに迂闊でした。いや、私たちは不正*者だったのです」。
