أَوۡ يُوبِقۡهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ وَيَعۡفُ عَن كَثِيرٖ [٣٤]
あるいは、かれは彼らが稼いだもの[1]ゆえに、それら（の船）を沈没させられる。そしてかれは、多く（の罪）を大目に見られるのだ。
