Surah The cattle [Al-Anaam] Ayah 165 Location Maccah Number 6
وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَمٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡبَأۡسَآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَضَرَّعُونَ [٤٢]
ਹੇ ਨਬੀ! ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਥੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਉੱਮਤਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਵੀ ਪੈਗ਼ੰਬਰ ਭੇਜੇ। ਫੇਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ (ਉੱਮਤਾਂ) ਨੂੰ ਕਠਨਾਈਆਂ ਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਹਿਤ ਨੱਪ ਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਨਿਮਰਤਾ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਨਿੰਵ ਜਾਣ।
