Surah The Cow [Al-Baqara] Ayah 286 Location Madanah Number 2
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلۡنَٰكُمۡ أُمَّةٗ وَسَطٗا لِّتَكُونُواْ شُهَدَآءَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَيَكُونَ ٱلرَّسُولُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ شَهِيدٗاۗ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا ٱلۡقِبۡلَةَ ٱلَّتِي كُنتَ عَلَيۡهَآ إِلَّا لِنَعۡلَمَ مَن يَتَّبِعُ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِمَّن يَنقَلِبُ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيۡهِۚ وَإِن كَانَتۡ لَكَبِيرَةً إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَى ٱللَّهُۗ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُضِيعَ إِيمَٰنَكُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِٱلنَّاسِ لَرَءُوفٞ رَّحِيمٞ [١٤٣]
143. Hice de ustedes una comunidad moderada y justa, a fin de que fueran testigos ante la humanidad[1], y fuera el Mensajero testigo de ustedes. Con el cambio del lugar hacia donde te orientabas [para orar], distinguí a los que siguen al Mensajero de aquellos que le dan la espalda. [Este cambio] fue algo difícil, salvo para aquellos a quienes Dios guió. Él no dejará de recompensarlos por su fe. Dios es compasivo y misericordioso con la gente.
