Setting
Surah The Fig [At-Tin] in English
بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ ﴿١﴾
I CALL TO witness the Fig and the Olive,
وَطُورِ سِينِينَ ﴿٢﴾
The Mount Sinai,
وَهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ ﴿٣﴾
And this Soil Secure,
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍۢ ﴿٤﴾
That We created man of finest possibilities,
ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ ﴿٥﴾
Then brought him down to the lowest of the low,
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۢ ﴿٦﴾
Except those who believe and do the right, for whom there is reward undiminished.
فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ ﴿٧﴾
Who should then make you deny the Judgement after this?
أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ ﴿٨﴾
Is not God the most equitable of all judges?
