Surah The Opening [Al-Fatiha] in English

Surah The Opening [Al-Fatiha] Ayah 7 Location Maccah Number 1

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ﴿١﴾

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿٢﴾

All praise belongs to God, Lord of the Universe,

ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ﴿٣﴾

the Beneficent, the Merciful

مَٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿٤﴾

and Master of the Day of Judgment

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ﴿٥﴾

(Lord), You alone We do worship and from You alone we do seek assistance

ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ ﴿٦﴾

(Lord), guide us to the right path,

صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ﴿٧﴾

the path of those to whom You have granted blessings, those who are neither subject to Your anger nor have gone astray.
