Surah The earthquake [Al-Zalzala] Ayah 8 Location Madanah Number 99

إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا ﴿١﴾

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake

وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا ﴿٢﴾

and it throws out its burden,

وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا ﴿٣﴾

the human being will say (in horror), \"What is happening to it?\"

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا ﴿٤﴾

On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it,

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا ﴿٥﴾

having been inspired by your Lord.

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًۭا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ ﴿٦﴾

On that day, people will come out of their graves in different groups to see (the results of) their own deeds.

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًۭا يَرَهُۥ ﴿٧﴾

Whoever has done an atom's weight of good,

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍۢ شَرًّۭا يَرَهُۥ ﴿٨﴾

will see it and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it.
