Surah Absoluteness [Al-Ikhlas] Ayah 4 Location Makkah Number 112

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ﴿1﴾

Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “He is Allah, He is One.”

ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ ﴿2﴾

“Allah is the Un-wanting.” (Perfect, does not require anything.)

لَمۡ یَلِدۡ وَلَمۡ یُولَدۡ ﴿3﴾

“He has no offspring, nor is He born from anything.”

وَلَمۡ یَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدُۢ ﴿4﴾

“And there is none equal to Him.”
