Surah Alms Giving [Al-Maun] Ayah 7 Location Makkah Number 107

أَرَءَیۡتَ ٱلَّذِی یُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّینِ ﴿1﴾

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital?

فَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ ٱلَّذِی یَدُعُّ ٱلۡیَتِیمَ ﴿2﴾

It is he who pusheth away the orphan,

وَلَا یَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِینِ ﴿3﴾

And urgeth not the feeding of the poor,

فَوَیۡلࣱ لِّلۡمُصَلِّینَ ﴿4﴾

Woe, therefore, Unto such performers of prayer.

ٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ عَن صَلَاتِهِمۡ سَاهُونَ ﴿5﴾

As are of their prayer careless.

ٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ یُرَاۤءُونَ ﴿6﴾

They who would be seen,

وَیَمۡنَعُونَ ٱلۡمَاعُونَ ﴿7﴾

And who withholds even common necessaries.
