Surah Solace [Al-Inshirah] Ayah 8 Location Makkah Number 94

أَلَمۡ نَشۡرَحۡ لَكَ صَدۡرَكَ ﴿1﴾

Have We not lifted up your heart,

وَوَضَعۡنَا عَنكَ وِزۡرَكَ ﴿2﴾

and removed your burden

ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنقَضَ ظَهۡرَكَ ﴿3﴾

that weighed so heavily on your back, and

وَرَفَعۡنَا لَكَ ذِكۡرَكَ ﴿4﴾

have We not given you high renown?

فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ یُسۡرًا ﴿5﴾

So, surely with every hardship there is ease;

إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ یُسۡرࣰا ﴿6﴾

surely, with every hardship there is ease.

فَإِذَا فَرَغۡتَ فَٱنصَبۡ ﴿7﴾

So, when you are free, strive hard,

وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرۡغَب ﴿8﴾

and to your Lord turn [all] your attention.
